White grapes - nutrients and use
The white and red grapes have the same nutrients as they are essentially the same type of fruit. White grapes are distinguished for the glucose they contain, which is helpful for those with heart troubles. They have other beneficial nutrients as well - the vitamins D, B1, B2 and C, calcium, sodium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus, iodine and others. The white grapes also have pectin and lipase, which help digestion. They have antioxidant and anticancer properties because of the flavonoids in them.
White grapes are eaten as dessert, dry and in the production of various white wines.
