It plays an important role in our bone health and supports blood clotting, which makes it especially valuable in the presence of wounds and hemorrhages. Vitamin A, also found in prunes, is always associated with health and beauty. That is why it is present in most cosmetic products for the face, body, hair, and nails. It is also called the vision vitamin. Prunes are rich in potassium, which makes them very suitable for hypertensive patients. Potassium helps eliminate fluids from the body, which lowers blood pressure and also helps with weight loss. Last but not least, sun-dried organic prunes have an excellent taste, as close as possible to that of fresh fruit. Since they have no added sugar, they are a suitable treat option even for diabetics, who must be especially careful not to consume excess sugar.
How to consume prunes? The possibilities for consuming prunes are literally endless. Since they are easy to carry, they can be a great snack during a hike or hike in the mountains, because they will fill you up and give you energy.
